Black
History Month |
February
is Black History month...in the US at any rate. Here in
Jamaica we have our own Black History and our own heroes
to celebrate. We have Una Marson, Marcus Garvey, Bob Marley,
Claude McKay and a whole lot more. Log on to http://www.go-localjamaica.com
and read about the lives of great Jamaicans who made
themselves and their nation proud. |
Journalism
Club |
Do
you want to become a Journalist? Do you want to be a 'guest'
editor of the youthlink magazine? Do you want to join
the youthlink magazine board? You could be getting involved
in this dynamic magazine if you join the journalism club.
You can write about anything at all, like aliens or teachers,
parents or friends, love or war. But secretly we are hoping
to also get the buzz on what's hot, and what's not; exam
blues and school news; your views and other dos. Join
as part of your school's journalism club or as an individual
member. The Youth Link Journalism Club is open to young
people 20 and younger. For more information click here
(http://www.youthlinkjamaica.com/join.html). |

a
weekend for two at Grand Lido Braco. Tell us the love
story of you and your spouse and you could be the lucky
winner. Log on to http://www.go-localjamaica.com
