Go-Jamaica will be hosting an online discussion with the Society addressing " Reducing Your Cancer Risk". The online discussion is just one aspect of the activities the Society is engaging in to mark its Cancer Awareness Campaign. Mrs. Marva Lee, Administrative Director of the Jamaica Cancer Society; Dr. Gillian Wharf, Oncologist ; Dr. Michael Abrahams, Obstetrician/Gynaecologist; Dr. Lucien Tomlinson, Surgeon and Ms. Yvonne Watson, Radiographer & Manager of JCS Mammography Department , will give advice, answer your questions and discuss concerns related to the topic. Now thanks to the efforts of Jamaica Fitness Association (JAMFIT) and the Ministry of Health a national high school cheerleading competition has become a reality. At Emancipation Park on Saturday, March 29, 11 schools wrote their names in history when they participated in the semi-finals of the first cheerleading competition in Jamaica.
