Go-Local Jamaica.com - Still Dreaded But We Need Not Fear Hurricanes As We Used To!
Mr. Archer, of Devon, Manchester recently told us (The Go-Local Jamaica Team): "Indelible on the walls of my mind is the scene I witnessed outside the family house on the morning of August 20,1951; fifty-four years ago when Hurricane Charlie struck our island and ravaged and destroyed everything it caught in its path. As a small child then, my perception of what I had noticed may have been more frightening than it was realistic; but the horror I saw in the faces and eyes of the adults who gathered from everywhere to talk, told me that something terrible had happened." So frightening was the impact that even now he says: "I still dread hurricanes to this day."

Youthlinkjamaica.com - Forgott3n Does It Again
It was 'déja vu' for Unique and Forgott3n as they again battled it out in the finals at the Local Area Network (LAN) tournament held recently, at the Computer Central Plus in St. Ann's Bay.

The St. Ann-based team Unique which had practiced all month was still no match for Forgott3n, the defending champion http://www.youthlinkjamaica.com/news.html
