Marcia Erskine, Contributor , writes that the Jamaica Hotel & Tourist Association and Jamaica Tourist Board conceived the Jamaica Product Exchange (JAPEX) in 1990, as a marketplace, which would facilitate professionally organised business exchanges between overseas wholesalers and tour operators and Jamaica's suppliers of tourist products and services.
