Archbishop of York visits Jamaica

John SentamuTHE DIOCESE of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands is currently hosting the Archbishop of York, the Most Revd. Rt. Hon. Dr. John Sentamu, Primate of England and his wife Margaret.

His visit is in recognition of the 200th anniversary of the Abolition of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. It will also provide an opportunity for members of the Anglican Communication and others to be introduced to Archbishop Sentamu who is widely acclaimed as a crusader for justice and equality, inspired by Christ's teachings.

Both Sides of the Story Part 2.

First it was it was just Both Sides of the Story, now we have have Both Sides of the Story Part 2. Both Sides on the Story Part 2 is heard on Power 106 FM (http://go-jamaica.com/power) and is hosted by the cool Mr. Michael Cuffe. It can be heard Monday - Friday at 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST.

Listeners from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Cayman and outside of Jamaica are especially invited to call in and air their views.

Tech Tip: Using our RSS feeds with Yahoo

rssRSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a 'feed' format for sharing and distributing Web content, such as news headlines. Using an RSS reader, you can view data feeds from various news sources including Gleaner sites.
